I do my best wandering when I’m alone, and that’s why I loved my trip to Paris a few years back so much. It was just me, my curiosity and my camera in my most beloved European city. Some photographs for your perusal:
It should come as no surprise that Paris fashion week is my favorite fashion week. The designs are more inspired, the women are chicer, and the backdrop and venues are sublime. Plus, it’s socially acceptable to smoke.
Some favorites from PFW so far (And yes, clearly I’m a minimalist and maybe that’s boring, but I like what I like:)
Alexander Wang’s first line for Balenciaga did not disappoint, and the garments look just as good going as they do coming.
Rochas. So ladylike and wearable. And I’m a sucker for long gloves.
Celine. Clean lines and clever knots. And the boots!
Valentino. I don’t even know what to do with myself over this collection. I would post the whole thing, but 67 looks seems a little excessive for a blog, so I’ll keep it down to 6. This edit was one of the most difficult tasks I’ve ever undertaken. Yes, I know – #firstworldproblems.
