Aqueous Musings

It’s not always easy living alongside endless miles of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.   Greece is no tropical paradise, where you can swim all year round.  We have a winter, you see.  It’s no wonder we’re on the verge of a total economic and social collapse.  We spend six months out of the year grappling with depression brought on by an inability to swim in those pristine waters and the other six months too distracted by swimming in them to get any work done.  It’s astonishing Helen and I even manage to post anything on this blog.

Needless to say, I’m ready for summer.  And after another blustery weekend in Thessaloniki, coming across these photographs shot by Sarah Lee in AnOther Magazine just about made my tortured, beach-deprived head explode.  They come from Forte Forte’s 10 year anniversary capsule collection campaign.  For those of you who don’t know, Forte Forte is an Italian womenswear label founded by brother and sister team, Paolo and Giada Forte.  Their collections are characterized by soft, feminine pieces made from exclusive Italian fabrics.  More importantly, did I mention I’m ready for summer?

If you like what you see, you should visit Sarah Lee’s website, where you’ll find some pretty incredible underwater photography.  I highly recommend it.

Until soon,

About wanderingmuses31

We are both from the USA, and now we live in Thessaloniki, Greece. We are friends with similar interests and hobbies - namely photography and all things aesthetically pleasing and lots of laughter. We don't claim to know about a lot of things, but hope that you find inspiration in some of the things that inspire us. Thanks.
