Fashion as Art

As much as I love fashion, there are times when I feel a bit uninspired by it all.  There are only so many blazers, pumps, sweaters, cardigans, designer t-shirts, pencil skirts and trousers a girl can look at before she gets a little bored.  We all need a little bit of the fantastical, the whimsical and the imaginative in our lives.  This is where Haute Couture comes in to save the day.  Although it’s mostly unwearable, prohibitively expensive and wildly impractical for the average Joe, that doesn’t make it any less beautiful.

Check out W Magazine’s take on this season’s Haute Couture collections.  While I can’t think of a single occasion or event where one of these getups would be appropriate, they are oh so dreamy to look at.  Enjoy.  And more importantly, be inspired.

About wanderingmuses31

We are both from the USA, and now we live in Thessaloniki, Greece. We are friends with similar interests and hobbies - namely photography and all things aesthetically pleasing and lots of laughter. We don't claim to know about a lot of things, but hope that you find inspiration in some of the things that inspire us. Thanks.
